Idaho State Cinic 2011

A huge thanks to Marian DeWane, state director of Idaho gymnastics and Mark Kindlespire-clinic director of Idaho gymnastics, for inviting me to be a clinician at the 2011 Idaho State Clinic. I had a great time seeing old friends and sharing my gymnastics with new friends. As I've stated before, any time I get an opportunity to work with coaches and athletes no matter what level, I'm in my element. I've spent a life time designing and building my gym set up to compliment the way I coach. So it's always a question whether I can duplicate my coaching stations in a different gym setting. At Gem State Gymnastics I had everything I needed to show coaches and athletes what I do in my home gym. Thank you Jim Tighe for making me feel at home. I wanted to bring a different approach to this clinic because I'm not a fan of "coaching the obvious" which tends to focus on the here and now. Instead, I believe in coaching for the future. It seems to have been well received by all. I now have a vested interest in seeing Idaho gymnastics thrive!
